T206 Cobalt Square Toolbits

This material is the standard high-cobalt material used at Metalbor and gives excellent performance at high rates of
cut in both standard and highly-alloyed steels, cast alloys and Titanium alloys. It tolerates vibration and interrupted
cuts. It is in most respects superior to M35 5% cobalt HSS which is used as the standard cobalt material in Europe.

SQUARE toolbits are offered in a variety of lengths including some long lengths which offer least wastage.
They are provided with shallow angled ends offering an initial relief angle for turning but they can be made
with square ends, usually to special order. Note that tools are manufactured on a surface grinder and that the
section tolerances are relatively wide.
