 Close Tolerance and Decimal Size Chucking Reamers

It is often necessary to specify highly accurate machine reamers for many operations where off-the-shelf sizes
will not do the job. For this purpose some accurately-ground machine chucking reamers are kept as unfinished
blanks which can be finished to size at short notice. We are also aware that the default (H7) tolerance for
standard 415A and other types of standard reamer is also quite wide and may not always be what is expected
by customers for such tools. Therefore it is imperative when ordering theses tools:

To specify the tolerance required.                 
To specify the quantity required.

In line with other European suppliers' common practice we propose a reamer tolerance of H4, which is closer 
to the nominal size requested, although still being a PLUS tolerance. Note that in USA, reamers designed to
make holes for Dowel Pins and similar, may be described with a minus tolerance.

The range of reamers available from these blanks is -
0.60mm - 12.70mm                               0.023" - 0.500"                           #1 - 73 wire gauge / A - Z letter gauge
