For reaming the ends of pipe joints prior to tapping: will give a much improved and longer junction in on-site 
work; essential for Dryseal work. Briggs taper (1:16 on diameter) for NPT threads. Can also be used for 
BSPT threads, where in some sizes a slight adjustment in reaming depth may be necessary.
