Note that all current production Coolbor taper shank drills have internal coolant channels opening both by means
of a crosshole in the morse taper itself, and through an axial hole in the tang, and are therefore suitable for any
machine delivering coolant through the MT spindle itself. The drills are supplied with the tang hole closed by a
grub screw, which needs to be removed if the tool is to be used with an axial supply, Systems of coolant delivery
supplied to the neck of the drill by means of a mating ring or collar (such as those formerly popularised by
CLEVELAND in USA, and by STOCK and GÜHRING in Germany) are not compatible with 206A/C and 208A
drills. For such systems drills may be specially ordered; some stocks of certain sizes are available for the
CLEVELAND system (type 206R).
