V36B
The numbering system presently used to specify a cupped squeezer set is at first encounter quite confusing
and better systems could be conceived, but as the present arrangement has a very wide currency we are obliged
to follow it here. It is, however, possible to specify the details of any standard set within the current framework.
Example - V36B - 202 - AN4705

Metalbor Series Length+Shank Rivet type Rivet size
The number 202 here covers both the body length (1/2") and the shank size (.187") of the tool
(see box on right), and it also assumed a particular body diameter. If a smaller than standard
body diameter is required for access the suffix - S is used after the rivet size.
Note that the numbers do not run in numberical sequence.
If no number except for the rivet number is mentioned in the order, it would be normal to provide
200 or 201 sets (that is, 1/4" or 3/8" long, .187" shank)
•Minimum quantity requirements (if not in stock) - The range on the following pages
is so extensive that not all combinations may be available from stock. It may therefore
be occassionally necessary to request a modest minimum order quantity to initiate
production at standard price, or chage out as if special for very small runs.
