determining the unit price, or a minimum batch quantity may be requested.

Special tapered drills similar to the above design, but with tapers other than 1 in 50 or 1 in 48, may be manufactured to order.
The quantity ordered will determine the price, and full details will be required.

TAPER DRILLING NOTES-


1. Speeds and feeds should be between 40% and 50% of those recommended for a parallel drill equal to the large diameter of the taper

drill. The amount of work required of a taper drill is very large and the power requirement is therefore very high.

2. The NOMINAL SIZE of a 1 in 50 drill is measured at the small end; in the case of 1 in 48, it is measured at the large end.
