The surface is low-friction and may improve lubrication. Although TiN coating has advantages in some particular applications, our engineers RECOMMEND that these drills are only specified where the coating has been shown to be advantageous. Note that the coating at the cutting tip, where it operates, will wear fairly quickly and progressively lose much of its function. The sizes below are generally in stock. Sizes not listed may be coated to order, the unit price depending upon the quantity ordered.
**Inch sizes are subject to quotation and may be subject to a minimum order quantity. Wire Gauge (Number and Letter size) are not currently being stocked with +TiN coating, but can be supplied to special order. Longer delivery and minimum batch quantity may be sometimes expected.
